Inflated Expectations is a pastel painting depicting a collection of new (vintage style) leather footballs and rugby balls from Wembley and Twickenham. The work was inspired by a striking basket of beautifully aged balls at the Chukka & Punch stand during the 2025 Goodwood Revival. A maximum of 55 Limited Edition Prints are available.
Each print is reproduced on archival-quality giclée fine art paper and includes a 15mm white border for signature and framing.
All prints are signed, titled, numbered, and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
Note: the original artwork size is 85 × 58 cm and was created using Carbothello, Derwent and Faber-Castell pastel pencils, with Unison and Rembrandt soft pastels on Clairefontaine Pastelmat board.
