This painting was completed using pastels and pastel pencils, drawn using Ray's own reference photo taken at the Goodwood Revival in 2025.
 
It continues the artists exploration of classic car reflections - a theme that began with his earlier work “TONKIN” from the 2024 Revival.  In 'In a Dash', reflections blur the boundary between interior and exterior again, with the Revival in full swing being seen from within this beautiful 1969 Ferrari 365 GTC by Pininfarini.  Approx, 125 of these vehicles were built as left hand drive versions, with an original sale price of £7,900 - now probably worth over 50 times that!!
